I’m on a mission: LIVE my life, and more fully embrace God’s grace.
My profession is teaching; my passion is Christ. Interests include anything related to faith and spirituality. I enjoy music (largely into classical at the moment), reading, nature, drinking a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, hanging out with my hubby or other friends, knitting (only flat items), and writing. I love going for walks, taking a nap, much prefer spring and summer weather to winter, and would rather mess around on the computer than watch television. I take my own cloth bags to the grocery store and think that everyone with any thought at all for the enviornment should pursue doing the same. Oh yeah, I’m a little opinionated too!
I’ve been a God seeker since early childhood and the desire for relationship with The Great Mystery ever deepens. I think ‘Great Mystery’ best describes God as I come to know him/her in deeper ways. God is so much beyond what we can ever imagine! I think it’s time we let God out of the box, and that is what I am trying to do in my own life. My church background is rather eclectic, and while I value all the experiences I’ve had I am happy to have (at last) found a spiritual home within the Episcopal Church.
I live with my husband, a kind and patient man, and a gray rabbit who has the run of the house. I have two wonderful children, with whom I am learning to live without as they are nearly grown and have their own lives.
